Ongoing Groups

In addition to our many Book Groups, we offer a number of ongoing groups.

Practically Speaking English

This program is a chance for our non-English speaking population to come in and practice their skills in communicating in English. The group will be lead by an English speaker to encourage members to only participate in English. The group will meet Tuesday mornings from 10:00am to 11:00am. No registration necessary.

Knitting Club

Join the Needlers a knitting group at the Swampscott Public Library. This group meets twice weekly, every Wednesday at 10:30am and Thursday at 1 pm. Knitters are welcome to attend either or both sessions.  Crocheters are welcome to join our group. We make our own projects or items to be donated to charity. Members can be beginners or experts.

Lou Gallo History Buffs

The History Buffs will now be known as the Lou Gallo History Buffs. The group will meet on the second Monday of the month at 10 am. The group will be led by Molly Conner and Andrea Liftman. The first meeting of the Lou Gallo History Buffs will be on Monday, September 13th at 10 am.

This will be in person. If anything changes, it will be posted on our website.

Red Rock Ramblers: ukulele group

The Red Rock Ramblers will meet the third Tuesday of the month at a time TBD. All levels welcome! We have a songbook started, but feel free to bring a copy of any music with both the lyrics and chords you’d like to attempt. You must have a ukulele to participate! Any questions, please email swa@noblenet.org.
