Welcome to the Swampscott Public Library Teen Scene

Welcome to the Swampscott Public Library Teen Area, a haven for 7th through 12th graders. Come here to use the public computers, hang out with friends, look at magazines, and check out computer games and new music CDs. You can get assistance with your school projects or recommendations of new books to read. We also have a graphic novel collection, including manga.

Teen Poetry Awards Ceremony

The awards ceremony has been canceled due to the coronavirus. We want to keep everyone safe and healthy! We will, however, be going forward with still having winners of the contest.

Winners will be notified, though the date for that may change given some complications due to the virus. We will keep you all posted on any changes.

In lieu of the contest, we will post winners in The Swampscott Reporter, on this page, and in our May/June newsletter, and prizes and booklets will be here for pickup. We will let you know when, so watch this space or ask your teachers, as I will be informing them as well.

Stay well, and stay safe.
